Benedito Capitango, born into a Catholic Christian family on August 11, 1981, in the city of Huambo, Angola (central region), is the new parish vicar. He is the fifth of seven siblings. In 2007, he was admitted to the Major Seminary of Luanda, beginning the Higher Course of Philosophy (Bachelor's degree) until 2009. From 2010 to 2013, he entered the Higher Course of Theology, and the following year, in 2014, he was appointed as a trainer at the same Seminary.

On December 13, 2015, he was ordained a priest by the Archbishop of Luanda, Archbishop D. Filomeno do Nascimento Vieira Dias, and was reconfirmed as a member of the Training Team of the Major Seminary of Luanda.

In 2017, he was appointed Vice-Rector of the Middle Seminary, and in 2018, he was sent to Rome to participate in a Lusophone Coaches Course. In 2019, he was appointed Treasurer of the Major Seminary of Luanda, a position he held until the date of his arrival in Cataluna.
